AVEKKI -koulutus

The AVEKKI model is an effective and practical approach to managing challenging situations in the workplace, particularly within the social and health care sectors. The model focuses on interaction, anticipation, and management, offering concrete methods for preventing and handling aggressive situations. AVEKKI emphasizes avoiding pain and respecting the client, while also highlighting the importance of cooperation: teamwork enables situations to be managed safely and respectfully.

The operating model provides staff with a shared approach that improves both workplace and customer safety. The model’s core values, such as respect for human dignity and a focus on dialogue, help foster a sense of safety for both employees and customers.

AVEKKI Basics

AVEKKI 1 (12 h)

- the theory focuses on developing the employee's skills in prevention, anticipation, and interaction, as well as on the risks associated with restrictive measures
- in practice, besides self-protection, restraining from a seated position
- suitable for staff who may occasionally need to physically restrain a client

AVEKKI 1 (16 h)
- duration 16 h
- includes key elements of the AVEKKI operational model
- the theory focuses on developing the employee's skills in prevention, anticipation, and interaction
- as well as to the risks and post-resolution processes associated with restriction
- in practice, in addition to self-protection, restraining and moving a person from a seated position
- suitable for staff who may occasionally need to physically restrain a client

- includes comprehensive training on the Avekki operational model

AVEKKI Maintenance

- reviews the content of the previously completed AVEKKI training
