Training on Safer Home Visits

We invite you to participate in our "Safer Home Visits" training, designed specifically for social and health care professionals whose work involves home visits and home-based services. We recognize that you face various challenges during these visits, including psychological and physical violence from clients. Therefore, this training is designed to support you in developing your skills and ensuring your safety.

Training content:

- Risk assessment: You will learn to assess the risks associated with your work and identify potential threats and hazards in advance.

- Anticipating threats and hazardous situations: The training focuses specifically on how to anticipate and prepare for challenging client encounters in clients' homes.

- Actions in dangerous situations: You will gain practical tools and skills for handling situations perceived as threatening, including the concept of necessary self-defense.

- Actions following the incident: The training also covers how to proceed after the incident to ensure recovery and the management of any potential consequences.
Practical information about the training:

- Duration: The training lasts three to four hours, so you can easily fit it into your busy schedule.

- Tailored: The training is customized to your specific needs, ensuring it effectively addresses the challenges and requirements of your work. It can be delivered via in-person sessions or remote lectures, and an online course is coming in 2024.

- Trainer: Years of experience with various home visits from a safety perspective.

This has been our most popular training course of all time. We have been delivering training based on this concept since 2015 to a wide range of professional groups whose work requires them to enter people's homes.
