Training content:

- What various laws require and permit school assistants to do: Using examples to illustrate how staff should act in accordance with legal requirements in different situations—thereby ensuring a solid footing for any potential subsequent inquiries and bolstering personal mental resilience—since uncertainty regarding rights and obligations can lead to incorrect actions or a failure to act.

- Personal capabilities and stress reactions: We explore the diversity among employees and their ability to handle challenging situations. We discuss the importance of being kind to oneself. We explain the effects of stress reactions and how to mitigate their impact.

- Sense of community: Highlight the importance of a sense of community and shared practices. Discuss how these can be developed and what should be taken into account.
Dangerous objects in schools: If desired, the trainer can provide a hands-on demonstration of the various types of objects children and young people might carry with them these days. Things are not always what they seem. Seeing and handling these objects can make it much easier to understand how to deal with them.
