Welcome to the online training course on safe learning environments for teachers, which you can complete at your own pace and convenience. You can take the course using, for example, a computer or a mobile device. Depending on the agreement, it is available to the client for a specific period, within which the training must be completed.
The content of the training includes, among other things:
Teacher's authority:
What a teacher is permitted—and not permitted—to do under the Basic Education Act, for example in challenging situations involving students.
Situations involving necessary defense:
At what point does the Basic Education Act cease to serve as the basis for action, and the situation instead become governed by the Criminal Code provisions on necessary defense?
The training includes plenty of examples, videos, and information.
Benefits of the online course:
- A way to acquire new knowledge and update or review existing knowledge, independent of time and place.
- An easy way to bring the work community's knowledge and skills up to the same level without in-service training days or the like. The course can be completed in a single session in under 45 minutes.
What opportunities are there after the online course?
It is a good idea for a work community to arrange in-person training covering specific topics—such as prima-edu®️ training with practical exercises, if needed, or any other training the community requires in addition to the online course.
Strengthen your professional skills and ensure you are prepared to face challenges in client work professionally and safely.
