A neck lanyard featuring two safety clasps. Standard lanyards for keys or ID cards typically have only one safety clasp designed to release if the strap is grabbed and pulled. However, if an assailant happens to grab the strap from behind right at the location of that single clasp, the lanyard will not detach from the neck.

The Able safety lanyard features two safety clasps. It is highly unlikely that someone grabbing the lanyard would catch hold of it at the exact location of both clasps. Here, too, we apply the "+1 rule": if something goes wrong, there is a backup safety mechanism.
